Salvo number 1- Prescription Solutions- part of the problem

This blog is dedicated to inept, non customer oriented corporate beings who can't tell their anus from a hole in the ground.

Momma, being Medicare age, is signed up for Medicare Part D through AARP=- they use Prescripton Solutions for their mail order meds. Saves her money, keeps the meds flowing and hasn't been an issue until this April.
The nurse at her assisted living tells me she tried to call in some refills- got some ROYAL bitch, who was totally rude, and REFUSED TO SEND THE MEDS TO WHERE MOM LIVES. Mom has gotten all her meds sent there before. I am thinking this lady was either PMS-ing, or hadn't been able to make her connection and was in a bad way. The nurse finally gave up and said fine and let me know what to expect. I did receive 2 drugs that the nurse did NOT request=- they were discontinued 2 months ago!! So, anyone need any Lisinopril? I have a 3 month supply. Don't know what the going rate is on the black market, but am willing to negotiate.

So, a few days later I have a notice from the PO that I need to come to the PO to pick up and sign for these meds ( the more controlled meds=- sleeping pills mostly)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, by the way- they are only open from 8-5. I work an hour away, and leave at 0630 and don't arrive home at the EARLIEST at 530 pm. I call Prescription Solutions=- first lady all apologetic, but can't do anything for me. OH BY THE WAY, if the meds go back to Prescription Solutions AND MOM GETS CHARGED. I hit the roof- asked to speak to the Escalation Manager ( I have been here before, with ATT and others- lets save us all a step or two, yes?) I speak with Ceasar=- NO PROBLEM- we will have PO reroute it to your mom's address=- no, the other lady was wrong. Fine.

on 5/3 I get another note from the PO= need a signature ... sigh. damn, fuckwad. I call PO= again, go through the first hamster , then onto someone who SUPPOSEDLY can do something. Oh no, she says, I have a rerouting number and all is good- here it is. BULLSHIT>
Today, I come home and Prescription Solutions has left a message on my phone asking me to call ( really? really? YOU MUST BE FUCKING MASOCHISTS)
Me, the total goober, calls and find out the meds are going back to Prescription Solutions- oh no, your mom won't be charged- YEAH RIGHT-I want something in writing= email or paper form. I can't do that. FINE+_send me to someone who can. After holding for 10 min, I speak to a supervisor who can't get it through her flimsy little skull that I don't believe ANYTHING they tell me- they are total fucking white men in the worst possible sense. OH, I can give you a tracking number for the overnight meds that are going out- DON"T WASTE YOUR BREATH, SISTER, been down that road. I want something in writing- she can't do that. Then I need to speak to someone in the Corporate office who has the ability to send an email confirming the stated " fact" that mom won't be charged for the returned meds, NOR for the overnight shipping, since they FUCKED IT ALL UP TO begin with. She just kept going on and on. I finally pointed out that they are alot of Medicare Part D's that momma can choose from and the internet is a powerful tool, does she really want to go this route?? She kept blabbing about how she COULDN"T do this, she COULDN"T do that... I finally told her she was incompetent and hung up.
Death to Corporate America=- individually people can be fine- put them in a large entity with " systems' and " processes" and " flow" and " escalation managers" and they become fuckin idiots without any humanity left. Prescription Solutions isn't abherrant, unfortunately, they are all too the norm.
Sometimes I just want 5 acres and goats. They get it.
